British Airways is letting Terminal 5 speak for itself in a new campaign to try and repair the PR plane wreck that was its launch.
From the site...
"T5 is working. We understand that just saying this is not enough, so we thought we'd let you see for yourself. Over the next few weeks we will be showing how the terminal is working everyday in a new advertising campaign using photography of real customers during their journey through T5."
The campaign will be running across outdoor, print, digital and radio giving live updates day-by-day.
It's brave stuff from BBH and Zenith, I'll give them that. What happens if something goes wrong and people are waiting to check-in for 3 hours, flights are cancelled and bags go missing? I'd love to see the photos from that day. Especially under the heading "T5 is working".
Ta Andy.
